lextildeath
I think he is asking at what RPM to launch an AWD S40 T5.Assuming you have stick, first have the car ready in 1st gear. And you want to launch about 1,000 RPM short of redline. Since you have AWD, your tires won't spin (even though you have a haldex, otehrwise I would've said launch at redline). And since they won't spin, that means you have traction. And also, them not spinning means your drivetrain loses momentum and loses revs, so launching high will put you in a good power band when you gain grip. Benjam83
/\ It depends on how long you want your clutch and driveline to last.

USMC850T
I like to launch right from the bottom of the powerband. As i slip in the clutch I add gas to keep the RPM's at the beginning of the powerband. If you don't give a shit about your drivetrain or clutch, just bouce the limiter a few times and slide your foot sideways off the clutch so it actually rockets up (been in a TT steath AWD when my idiot friend did that!).
