stew
Hi all,Just replaced the round upper torque bushing on top of the motor approx 2 months ago. Was able to make own press so decided to go with OEM bushing. Was checking the oil etc the other day and noticed that the bushing had moved and was sticking out the side of the mount that you press it in from. ie it is no longer evenly spaced inside the mount.Has anyone that has pressed the bushing in had this happen? If so is it a case of just repressing the bushing back into the mount? As we all know it is very hard to get the new mount in and hence I thought it would never move!!!!!CheersStew ;)
prasamin
if it moved, you should check the firewall bushing under the wiper cowl

It has definitely cracked so will replace this ASAP. I pressed the bushing back in so will keep an eye on it.ThanksStew

Mine also moves, but I believe it's due to alignment issues created from a front-end accident and not the installation. Pull up next to another 850 to see if your motor is shifted over like mine... makes things exciting!
