Guest Bluemaster
I got a Volvo S80 –04 Whit RTI (DVD) and a TV tuner. What I would like to do, is to put in an aftermarket DVD player so I can watch movies on the RTI screen. Is this possible?? I have asked in a couple of the local shops (Norway) and they say it can’t be done.
wattsat
Well, in the US (At least most states) it is illegal to have a television or other display device visible to the driver. I believe it is only illegal if the video is playing while the car is in motion.Funniest thing I ever saw on the news was when people started complaining about people watching Porn on their car LCD's while driving down the Highway. I am not making that up. It was really on the News..

The problem was that stupid idiots put screens in the rear headrests (where there are no passengers) specifically to show-off to other people on the highway. They're trying to make it an arestable offence!
V Tuning 850
Are we talking just DVD player, or like a headunit with a DVD player built in with a screen?

Entuscan
Well They only way I can think of this beeing possible is if you can hook up the external DVD player to the TV tuner module.I'm pretty sure there is an option for this on the tunermodule.Find out where that sucker is and look for an AV in
550
yeah there has to be an A/V in somewhere, try popping the screen out. I really doubt that the thing has proprietary connections, but that is not unheard of, either.
