96PlatinumEdition850
I have the amp power wire hooked up, remote wire, and ground wire all hooked up. I did a test(turned on the car) and the amp didn't power on. Do I need the RCA cables hooked up for the amp to get power? Thanks!
steve s
no. assume if u have the remote wire connected properly...the amp won't turn on until u turn on the head unit.
b3atboxjr
make sure you have the fuse in and its not broken. i'd also check if you simply have the wrong remote lead from yer stereo hooked up.it's blue/white if you have an aftermarket. The amp would work though, just only on the radio setting.

96PlatinumEdition850
My ground wasn't good enough, got it all fixed. Installed, hits great. Tomorrow I'm buying all the peel and seal I can for the trunk.
Nucleareskimo
you could try connecting the remote wire to another power source that you know will turn on or is always on to test and see if the remote wire is the problem.
