No Service Reminder Light After 10k Miles.

Hi

My service reminder light hasn't come on yet, I know this is no biggie, but what is the interval set at? Car is 95 2.4 n/a 10v auto. I will check the bulb hasn't blown.

The last car 93 GLT had a 'service' light come on every 5k miles.

Matt

My guess would be a blown bulb.

You are so lucky. I wish my bulb would just burn out so I dont have to see that ugly thing light up anymore.

Some say it's an incentive to drive easy for the first few minutes after you crank your car. I going to remove mine this weekend since I am tired of dealing with the dealer to have it reset (and yes, I'm too 'cheap' to pay $200+ for the tool).

Popping the cluster out and throwing back in is a 20 minute job, you can do eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttt!

Dude, come on! I'll even throw in a freee plastic cover if you break yours, it just needs to be wiped down (no scratches...)

Pass through Gainesville and I'll do it for a six pack of Bavaria.

I can do it and keep my six pack :monkey:

When I get some LED's for the dash I will take it out. Til then...I think I can deal with a little orange lighting.

Just think of it as a reminder to not boost until it goes out (about the time it takes for the car to warm up).
