sks40
My climate control fan in my 2002 S40 now has only 2 speeds high and higher. Driving down the road, while set to 'AUTO" it suddenly went to its highest speed. I turned the fan speed knob to "0" and it slowed a little but still very high. No matter what I set the control to it runs high. I have shut the car off and started it several times and the fan continues to run high. I'm thinking the problem may be the transistor that is mounted near the fan motor. Any other ideas?ThanksStan

dmelviØØ7
Probably needs a resistor. I've done a couple of those recently.
