2000 V70 Xc Awd

I just purchased a 2000 V70 XC AWD SE with 48K and I want to replace all the fluids. I have two questions.

1) What components should have the fluids replaced? (I do not have the Manuals). I will be having my trusted local indy mechanic replace all the fluids so I want to have all of them ready for him.

2) Would you go with OEM Volvo fluids; or go with another product that will give better protection?

It is about time to start replacing worn components. I am in the process of replacing the engine, tranny mounts and wheel bearings. I will soon be replacing the upper strut bearings, lower ball joints along with the shocks. I will be instaling the IPD sways, QuickBrick Endlinks, Cherry Turbo upper strut bar, TME Dual exhaust when I do the engine/tranny mounts.... and eventually an ECU upgrade down the road. That is all I really intend to do with the car.

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.

prestone ( any kind ), brake fluid ( any kind dot 4 or more ).

IPD sales a cute kit for a complete trans flush!!!

I suggest synthetic oil for trans ( mobil 1 is a good choice, is not to expensive )

Angle gear and rear diff have no drain plug!!!

If you want replace gear oil use a suction gun. ( I suggest volvo gear oil ) ( Is not the same oil for front and rear diff )
