Phil94850 Posted November 28, 2006 Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 i asked earlier about having problems with my MBC, i forgot to mention that i have tightened my wastegate about 6 turns and with the MBC and that many turns on my wastegate im still only getting about 10psi max. any ideas ?? Phil94850 Posted November 28, 2006 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 the stage 0 is good... new timing belt, plugs, wires, cap, etc., ive replaced the vac. hoses, ive checked and tightened the clamps for the hoses from the turbo to the intercooler and intake, im lost on this one...i havent checked the wastegate. i guess you have to use a vac gauge to check it ? Hellas850 T-5 Posted November 28, 2006 Report Share Posted November 28, 2006 you can do another test with the wastegate,pull off the hose from it and go for a test drive.but be careful the pressure normally will go very high.My opinion try it only with second gear.Otherwise there is a big risk of damaging the engine.
