grocerygetter
My sister blew up my Dads 95 850 turbo, overheated it and ran it until its siezed, says she didnt want to pull over because it was raining. Regardless I figured I would have time to replace the engine but really dont even want to attempt it at this point. Anyone want to buy this? Its either this or my Dad gives it to charity for a tax break. The rest of the car is in reasonable shape for a 95 with 145K on the clock. Very well maintained and only driven by my Mom and Sisters. They really didnt like it because they said it was too fast. Will post pictures later when I get home.

grocerygetter
Nope my parents bought her another 850 Turbo, 94 to be exact. I tried so hard to get some POS Kia, but my parents insisted she should be in a safe car. So between my dad and I we own three 850 turbos in the same color. volvo4lif3
anything else wrong with the vehicle? How many miles on the transmission? ABS light on? Any CELS on b4 the engine blew? Ac condenser and heater work? How is the interior? Exterior in good shape?
grocerygetter
No codes beforehand, two years ago it was in a fender bender, only cosmetic damage. Replaced front bumper skin and grill. Between my Dad and I we took really good care of it. It was bought in 98 from Carmax for my mom. She drove it back and forth 5 miles to work until 2004. Garaged the whole time. Then my sister got it, the exterior is very clean, new tires, my dad has all the service records for it. The interior is OK, the seats cracked so my dad put seat cover on and besides some spilled coke on the floor its really clean. The ABS light was fixed somewhere around 2000. Never driven hard at all. I have sourced two engines here in the Atlanta area for 800/piece. 2500 total for a nice 850 turbo for someone who knows how to work on cars.Tranny is original, the cars odometer stopped working but I pulled the mileage earlier this year and it was around 143K, so I imagine now somewhere in the area of 145K.Heat and Air work perfectly, the air was just recharged this summer.
