adamjjohn203
Hey Kevin just wanted to ask you what really needs to go into putting a R bumper onto a glt or c70?(so much conflicting info in this thread) That green one is up for sale again and I'm pretty sure I'm getting it. He is going to take pics of the damage for me. Do I need new foam? And how bad is the damage on that R bumper you sold? I want it bad though. Anyway I still want to pop into Met motors when I get a chance just to look at some volvos. I saw the lot driving up to a cater job in the highlands. Need to stop by. Thanks for the info and sorry to jack the thread.
MattM
Adam,Swapping an R bumper onto your S/V is even easier than the C. In addition to the C70 with an R bumper I also owned Kevins old S with an R bumper swap. I have removed/installed the front bumpers on both cars and there isn't anything crazy to watch out for. Simply remove your bumper, swap over components, and reinstall. I have some pictures of all the parts and will try to dig them up for you. Concerning the front lip I totally agree(hence the cf lip on the car). Without it installed the R bumper is a little higher than the sideskirt which imo isn't as appealing. regards,Matt
