ovlov780t
Anyone ever use, or heard of any probs with these guages. I like some of the styles that they have. Any "real world" info on them would be nice. Thnxhttp://www.glowshiftdirect.com/index.asp?P...amp;Category=

Guest Guest
I just got an Autometer Phantom boost gauge which look pretty good. I find some gauges look too bright & are distracting when you drive. The Phantom isn't too bright yet still readable. I have the optional blue LEDHeres a photo if your interested, it actually doesn't look this bright in the car, and I hooked mine up to the lights so I can dim it. Only problem i have had is that because its a tinted on its hard to see during the day, but during the night its amazing.

kaufyandcream
What's a manual boost gauge?Mechanical boost gauges have a "boost line" that runs from the engine compartment, to the back of the gauge.Electric boost gauges have a pressure sensor that is mounted in your engine compartment and the pressure sensor relays an electric signal to the gauge which provides the most accurate reading of boost. Denovae
I'll tell you what. Those guages are like fort knox's hookers, i wouldn't come within 40ft of them without some sort of protection and identity concealment.

They were poking fun because he said manual instead of mechanical.
