USSEnterprise
Crutchfield has pairs of 2 way Blaupunkt speakers for sale for $30. I'm thinking of replacing six of the eight speakers in my car (not the tweeters). I don't have much money to spend on this, but how would they probably sound? Better than stock I assume? You would not need, and should not get a third set.The dash and front door speakers are wired together, as are the rear door and D-pillar/hat shelf speakers. If you only get one set, you need to remove all the speakers in the front, to use these in the front. Likewise for the back.
USSEnterprise
So I shouldn't bother replacing all six? I have the speakers in the front and rear doors, and the rear deck. If I got these, I would not need to have speakers anymore in one of the back sections?

This means, four 2-way speakers is the same (in a sense) as having eight OEM speakers. You would be at twelve if you tried to replace the OEMs with three 2-way sets.In a nutshell, remove ALL of your OEM speakers. Buy and install TWO sets (4 total) of 2-ways. Done deal. USSEnterprise
Just got a set of Polk 5x7s for the rear deck. They are new in box, 2-60 watts RMS. Traded for an old eMachines computer.
