Asinine
I'll ask my question via a little anecdote - excuse the photos, quality was set to medium on my Nokia 6275iFirst, I woke up bright and early at 7:40 this Saturday morning (after working nights and going to bed at 3). I loaded up my Modas (17") and my housemates stockers for his SSs (18s) into the wagon - all fit no problems:Jacked up the car and test fitted the Modas, they are definitly going to look effing sick!BUT!! - ISSUE - they don't fit over the hub. I don't recall seeing R6s on 850s before, but my mechanic friend tells me the hubs on x70s and 850s are the same, and I know I've seen R6s on x70s before. Is boring out the centre normal? Anyone!?And finally, my buddy is totally a 'car guy' with a room for tires, and, only tires!!So, the centre bore!?.. anyone, bueller, anyone?!?!? 850kompresser
doesnt fit over the hub? i dont think its gonna fit in ur wheel well. sorry.. could not help myself on that one. You should be able to bore out the center without any problems. As long as you don't have to remove alot of material. They are going to look good on your car. Greenchunks
Hmm, my R6's fit perfectly, on my S70, and as far as I knew they have the same center bore. You sure, they're meant fot a Volvo (correct center bore?)
Asinine
Jeremy was right, they did come off a Thunderbird. And those tires are garbage (225/55/17), no tread and will need to be replaced in the spring when they actually go on.Yes, the hole of the wheel is too small, and I will just have it bored out (no other option really) which means the wheel will no longer be hub centric and I guess there's a risk then of a shudder. 550
I bought my wheels and the whole was too small as well, IIRC. Still needed the rings, they just forgot to send them.. Maybe get a close up pic? There is a fine line between what one would call small and needing rings IMO.
