so I have the funds now, just need to figure out what im going to do with it. Im leaning towards the heico flaps for the S70 because they are only 300 bucks now. I think there both sick but I think getting the Heicos are more of what im looking for. I kind of like the stock bumper as it is and adding the heicos will make it just as sick looking as an R bumper IMO. Plus i havent seen many people with them so it would be kinda unique. any comments would be appreciated.

I just ordered the Heico Spoiler Extensions for the 1998-2000 model 70 series.

$275 shipped!!! Great price.

I agree both look great. However I decided that for starters getting an R bumper is going to cost way too much. And the Heico flaps are nice, but not a lot of people have them. So it is something different.

Way to cheap out.

IMO it wasn't worth $858 to get an R bumper, have it prepped, have it painted my color and have it installed.

When I can get a stock bumper already painted and have it installed and then install the Heico front spoiler extensions. Which are not as common as an R bumper.

Maybe you misinterpreted what I was saying. I HAVE THE MONEY to go the route of a R bumper but I have been eyein up the Heico flaps for some time and now that they are on sale i thought i would raise the question (because i will be able to save a little bit of money for something else to go with them ie clear turn signals, side turn signals, volvo rear spolier etc). I genuinely believe that having the Heicos will look just as good with my car as a R bumper. Plus I think that the split spoke wheels I have would benfit more from the Heico flaps than a R bumper. Besides when I drop the car it will make it look ten times better whether it be the R or the heicos IMO.

IMO go with HEICO.

I mean this looks really good here, VLA-080-201-T1.jpg

Now add my projectors, matching turn signals and eyebrows. And boom it looks a lot better.

Heicos

Take out the middle grille and pop in the left and right R bumper grilles into your stock bumper. Get either a mesh or xc grille. Just don't keep the stock left and right grilles and definitly get yourself some fogs. It'd be the hawtness.

That's my complaint about this white above. I think the side grilles need to be changed to the R bumper grilles.

and can't you get the R bumper for $385 painted from Viva?

http://www.vivaperformance.com/catalog/pro...products_id=174

Yes I can get one from Viva for $385 painted. However the R model didn't come in WHITE. So I would have to pay over $200 to have it prepped and painted white to match my cars color. Not to mention that it will cost at least $50 to ship the bumper from Viva to my house. I was being charged close to $900 to get an R bumper, have it prepped, have it painted and have it installed. IMO not worth it.
