bogelo
I need it for my 94 volvo 850 wagon front suspension. I tried to find at fcpgroton.com but I don't see any bump stop there on their website. TIA.

Adam Franke
Bump stops are for the rear. Why do you think you need a new one?
bogelo
Bump stops are for the rear. Why do you think you need a new one?←I took out my front suspension and found there was a bump stop there and it was torn so bad. Prolly it was taken from some other volvo car. Bay13
You call it a bump stop, show us a picture and maybe we will start calling it a bump stop. :)
beachnut
Page 10-7 in the Haynes manual shows one. It fits down in the top of the dust boot. Mine were all disintegrated when I replaced my struts. They are orderable from Volvo, however I happened to be talking to someone from ipd that day about something else and I asked if they stocked them. They don't, but the guy told me that the Bilstein HD's have built-in bump stops, so I installed my new struts without them. Now I wish I had purchased them. I've had a few instances where I'm sure they would've helped take the edge off some nasty bumps, even if just a little.<edit> Here's a pic of one. They're calling it a "strut insulator". Haynes calls it a bump stop.
