ACES70
I know this must have been covered a million times before, but what are everyones experiences with replacing your 02 sensors with the universal ones or the OEM ones? There is a huge price difference between the OEM ($170) and the universal ($30). Just wanted to know if anyone had seen any difference in the two. Patrickw
DONT get the "universal" o2 sensors because u have to splice wires and whatnot (Is that even a word? Let me check the dictionary. No it's a not a word, I'm dumb!).. the only reason i say this is because i tried 1 of these kits then took it to a mechanic because it wouldnt work. They said that it could have been the old wiring harness that was spliced into or somethin with the sh!tty sensor. yes they are a lot cheaper and u can get bosch ones (which i tried) but i say, save yourself the hassle and get a OEM sensor so u get the whole new unit with wire IMO, u can give the universal sensor a shot if u want but don be suprised if it dosent work.. good luck with the CEL ive been workin on mine for months

The NGK 02 sensor came with a harness that attached right to the OEM one.
ViperVette
Either go NGK or OEM. Unless you are really confident, the 'universal' one is gonna be a big hastle.
