Well we strapped her down and laid in a 92 octane run at 21psi, drained the tank of the 1 gallon left and filled it up with 110 octance for a 26psi run. I don't know what exactly happened because a) i wasn't in the car and B) i wasn't at the data logging monitor but the car killed the 20g turbo and the walbro 255lph fuel pump in the middle of the 110 run right around 4000rpms in 3rd gear. No damage to bottom end, block, or head. the 20g had some shaft play so i sold it to a guy who wanted to rebuild it.

So i have some decisions...

sell the damn car putting back on the stock turbo and stage 2 pcm and stock the fuel pump...

getting a used HRC super 20g from a friend and replace the fuel pump...

or go big turbo GT3076R and destroy my bank account...

oh the decisions... anyone have any advice?

If you were going to sell your car, what would you get, an unmodded daily car, or a meaner beast to mod?

I'd probably buy two cars a beater (jeep) and drag worthy car. the list of drag worthy would be F-Body, Fox Body, C4 vette... if i only bought one it would be an EVO or STi used <3years.

Why not buy a Volvo and post here.. :)

I'm looking to go faster not slower. You've got me thinking though, i test drove a new S40 T5 AWD... slow as balls but I'm sure a built bottom end, ARP head studs, custom tune and a GT3076R could fix that... just gotta plan the money and upgrade route correctly.

plus if you knew what the LT5 was you'd be screaming at me for not buying it...

good luck with that.

i was actually kidding, the T5 AWD is a nice car and would be a complete sleeper but to get it to be where i want my car to be (400whp) would cost way too much money.

Mmmmmmmm, LT5:

Immediately prior to the release of the second generation Small-Block, General Motors released a largely unrelated engine which also used the LT name. The LT5 was a special engine indeed. It was an all-aluminum 349 in³ (5.7 L) small-block V8, but was entirely different from any of the other Chevrolet 350 engines. The bore and stroke were both different at 3.9 by 3.66 in (99 by 93 mm) instead of the usual 4 by 3.48 in (102 by 88 mm) and it featured a Lotus-designed 32-valve DOHC head. It was hand built by specialty engine builder, Mercury Marine. This engine produced 375 hp (280 kW) and 370 ft·lbf (502 Nm) for the 1990-1992 Corvette ZR-1 and jumped to 405 hp (302 kW) and 385 ft·lbf (522 Nm) for 1993 to its final year in 1995, thanks to cam timing changes and improvements to the engine porting. 1993 also added 4-bolt main bearing caps and an exhaust gas recirculation system. The engine was not used in any other vehicle.

^^^^ Hell yea, I'm looking at a 1990 C4 Corvette ZR1 in Black with 32k miles on it.
