Socal
I've got a new MP3 player that I want to be able to play through my car. My HU, an Eclipse 530R3, is rather old, but it has a CD changer currently hooked-up in the trunk. I want have RCA imputs running from the HU to be able to plug into the stereo mini-jack on the MP3 player. After poking around, I found a 13-pin DIN to RCA adapter like the one below, but as I suspected my HU wasn't Aux-imput ready so it didn't work.Info hereSo, what options are there? After reading a thread here about jumpering this and that wire on the DIN connection, which I understood very little of, it's clear that going from a DIN to RCA isn't as simple as pluging in the appropriate adapter.Would something like this work? It's designed for a Kenwood HU

That dongle appears to be an ai-net interface. Read up on your radio's documentation to see if it can be put into aux mode. otherwise, you need to get a changer simulator dongle or a new HU.
