i was interested in this since im on my 3rd radiator. im probably down for a gb with maybe a trans fluid cooler as well. just let me know. i dont have an extra core just laying around though. -Ryan

again find out if they are even using OEM cores ... if tehy are using cheap knock offs that is the cause ... use a good rad and you will not have this issue

Well it sounds like I am going to have to just use OEM since the level ten trans will not work with an aftermarket cooler. If I could get a core with integrated cooling for oil and trans that would be ideal. Oh well. Thanks for the info anyway guys.

Why wont the Level 10 work with an aftermarket cooler?

I need a new radiator, and was wondering if anybody knew of a good perfomance radiator, all aluminum. I remember a thread about this a long time ago, but cannot find it.

I have been dealing with some cooling issues, best thing to do is just use the stock cooler according to Level Ten.

Cause hes a nooble.

I would prefere if you called me a noodle. I love pasta! I am such a noob.

BTW that is a funny new headline for this thread, much more fitting IMO. I saw the title and was like "I don't remember starting a thread like that?" Go figure

Aftermarket cooler will be no different from a stock "in radiator" cooler from the trans's point of view.. As long as the oil circulates..

Same goes for the engine oil cooler. Replace with an aftermarket cooler and install a 1999+ S/V/C70 radiator for a manual which is radiator only, no trans or engine oil coolers build in. (Maybe has a slightly higher capacity because of this..)
