Rebuilding

Well after some thought i've decided to try and build the SRT-4 back up atleast for the next year. i'm putting off buying a new car. I just purchased a few new parts for the SRT-4 that will be useful to the stock turbo, no more big turbo kit but i'll see if i can manage 300whp by the end of this year. right now it's sitting around 230-240whp.

i just bought the following

PTP upgraded WGA spring

PTP MAP/TIP Clamp

PTP 75psi FPR

my next step will be getting the car tuned on a dyno for 93 octane or getting a wideband and tuning myself. with these mods my stock injectors will flow closer to 630-660cc/min instead of 577cc/min depending on the adjustments made to the MAP clamp.

yeap. after hearing stories about how shitty haldex is, and how the stock volvo blocks lack sufficient room for modification... i've decided to stay with the A855 Neon 2GN, afterall 500whp has been seen on many A855s with stock blocks and all the transmission needs is a new clutch to accomodate the power. cheap money per hp FTW.

yeap. after hearing stories about how shitty haldex is, and how the stock volvo blocks lack sufficient room for modification... i've decided to stay with the A855 Neon 2GN, afterall 500whp has been seen on many A855s with stock blocks and all the transmission needs is a new clutch to accomodate the power. cheap money per hp FTW.

Neon aftermarket is pretty winnar too.

i'm sorry i don't quite understand what you're saying.

If you don't know how to make your own parts, it's nice when there's a decent amount of people who will make the parts for you. Such a group exists in the Neon, I mean SRT4, world. It's still a bit lacking in the Volvo world.

the SRT-4 world only came alive really when AGP, AMS, and PTP stepped up to plate and turned out 500-800whp cars which have lasted 50k miles without anything but normal wear and tear.

This is great, I like how you put it in the OT area. I would put some undergows and a huge muffler and make it really pimped, ya know? You could be cousins with this car...
