You're right. It will work. And you will post and say, "ZOMG IT'S SO LOUD I LOVE IT!!!"

That doesn't mean you didn't fall for their marketing. What did you pay? $50 on Ebay? Do you honestly belive you can get >30 RMS per dollar?

Make sure your next amp is CEA rated.

50, +30 shipping. Although, the same amp was going for twice that in other ebay auctions.

I was joking with that amount also, but OK. LOL

Let me explain something, 36 watts : $1 is a pretty unrealistic ratio.

What you want is a CEA rated amp. CEA ratings are not perfect, but at least a third, uninterested party was involved in the test procedure.

I already gave my recommendation. Something that fits your sub specs, isn't a known garbage brand, and is CEA rated.

Get to shopping.

Yea... but I dont know much about Amps...

Its a wood, split, sealed box.

Insellated/stuffed with cotton.

Two used 05 ten inch cvr's.

Going in the back of a wagon.

All the specs I know of...

Audiobahn?

CVRs will hit much harder then Audiobahns. Maybe you didn't have your settings right or something.

LOL?

If you're talking about SPL, and all things being relatively equal, an Eternal would put a CVR to bed at half volume.

Eternals RMS handling is three times that of the CVR. Based simply on power and without even looking at the Xmax, cone weight, mag weight, etc, you should be able to tell that the purpose built (SPL) Audiobahn is going to be louder than an economy Kicker.

I wouldn't want all those puncture causing binders and boxes floating around my subs like that.

Then again, I don't have the room.

you need to learn to drive then lol :)

actually what I want to do is install both of them in the floor of the trunk and remove the spare tire since in the back of this model wagon this more then enough room for both.

and the amp is mounted right under where the sub is now.

just not sure I want to do that since I am not a fan of not have a spare tire due to all the driving I have to do

Actually, on a simlar note I compete with a guy that runs a 10 inch Audiobahn Immortal in an SPL enclosure in a Ford Escort hatch that burps better numbers than my rounds. Granted, I'm not setup for SPL, but still.

Glass the subs into the sides of the wagon and put the amp and spare under the floor. Done deal. Most of your room stays and you still get your spare. You can even use grille cloth to hide them if you want a "stealth" deal. Carpet over them if you're overly worried.

Drew, you need to tint your windows so no one breaks into your car. Ive seen much worse systems get stolen from cars.

Yea I know. I guess I will just have to mount razor blades on the back of the box until I get it done.
