Cal3thousand
My headlights flash instead of just my parking lights. I know that I need to "isolate the switch side" with a relay. How exactly do I do that? And how/why does that work? (optional)thanks!

PyROZen
are you sure you have the right wire? There's separate parking light/headlight wires behind the switch so i'd retest just to be sure. The reason you have to relay isolate the parking lights (so i've been told) is because if you just flash them with a negative pulse, the doors will also unlock. I'm not sure if its true but i isolated mine on my last car just to be safe. If you can find me a picture of a standard 5-prong relay, i can tell you what to do.lee
Cal3thousand
I have a 94 850 turbo.I'll check the switch again for right wire and isolate it too. The other problem that I have is I cannot get the lock wire.I've tried several yellow/grays without success. I heard of using a relay to power the lock using the M- (yellow) wire. What do you guys think?

The wire (-lock) in my car was wayyy back in the doorboot harness and it was very difficult to get to, but it's definitly there. Definitly retest your parking lights as well, i checked tech on it and there are 2 separate wires for park/headlights.lee
Adam Franke
Did you tap the white wire? That's what I did and I get the same results.
b3atboxjr
edit: don't diode isolate like i showed here, it stops your driving lights from working while your headlights are on. sorry - that's experimentation for ya!
