he sold it. he has an LMA-3 but you still need the LM-1 to run wideband functions.

You're partially correct. You need a wideband to run the wideband fuctions. All the LM-1 does is store data. You can use the LMA-3 and output it via serial cable to a laptop for data storage... and just get a wideband to gather the w/b data with.

it's possible but why pay 400-500$ when all i'm gonna use is the wideband and not the rest of the sensors?

We do not have a MAP stock. Only a MAF.

In the 99+ cars a MAP is present.

i have a map sensor on the SRT-4 which is a 2.5bar, a 3.0bar runs badly on the stock ECU. the sensors read 0-5v (unless i'm incorrect) and a 3bar would read less boost creating a lean condition with the stock ECU so it's probably not a good idea to be replacing the stock sensor.
