souljacket Posted March 7, 2007 Report Share Posted March 7, 2007 The rear door and deck speakers appear to be wired parallel, not in series. That why volvo uses different ohms. I would look at the connectors in the doors possibly grounding out on the metal frame, but would not suggest tying them together to complete the circuit. The sure fire thing is to direct run two speaker leads to the rear deck.Tp_taylor:Where can I find the connectors in the doors. Turns out that the magnets on the tweeters mounter above the main speakers had fallen into the speaker, and clamped the cone to the bottom. Could be the same problem.
