BlackBeast
Is it just one bulb has blown and stops the other one from working or do I have a wiring problem. Dont have a multimeter to check them out or a dry day to have a look.

Serge
The red door light should come on when any door is open. The footwell light is specific to the door. Chances are the microswitches in the lock mechanism are getting stuck. Wobble the latch a bit to see if it works. There are two microswitches inside... one for the courtesy lights and one for the footwell light.
BlackBeast
It is just the passenger door red light and the passenger foot well that isnt working. The microswitch sounds plausible as im sure it works sometimes and then doesnt other times. If it is the microswitch, do I need to replace it or would plenty of grease/oil sort it out? If it doesn't turn on when any other door is open, chances are it's the bulb. However, it does go through the microswitch inside as well.Take out the door lock assembly (requires you to remove the door panel and door handle). Unbolt the switch. Take off the plastic cover. Look for the two highly noticible microswitches. Adjust the metal flaps on top so that they turn on more readily. If they are still intermittent, run over to Radioshack or Fry's Electronics and pickup a similar switch... solder in place of the old one and viola!
