Anthrpicdecadnce Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 SO yesterday, i was driving, then all of a sudden the car sounded REALLY beefy. like the exhaust was putting out more of a bass tone, but it didnt sound like a leak. the driving was still smooth, and no CEL. then, today, the extra growl went away. what happened???the car sure sounded nasty though..... POOKDIZZLE Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 Make sure all your clamps and or joints on the exhaust are tight, one may have come loose on you and caused a small leak causing the extra sound. The flex of the exhaust under acceleration may have loosened it and then recorrected it; but either way I would definately take a look. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
