Disabling Tracs

Here's a question that I dont think has been asked for a while, if at all (couldnt find anything with a search), how do you permenatly disable the TRACS system without effecting the workings of the ABS system? I dont just mean by just switiching it off at the dash, I want it permenatly off, cause its no use to me at all, plus it will interfere with the traction control system that im planning for next year.

Wonder if it's all controlled through the ABS computer?

LOL How did you guess I want the racelogic TC chuck.

Even if the RL-TC works with tracs, is there anyway to disable the system permenantly?

YOu can do what I did. JUst pull the ABS computer. Not sure why you would remove it. NO need and its off by default. Other may know though. Sorry that was not much help.

So does that mean that all pre '98 cars have their tracs off, until you manually switch it on with the dash button?

In the dash, when the button is pressed, does it say 'TRACS ON'?

In the US. I have no clue whats the norm in Europe. Sure someone like Mike or Johann who have more experience with both sides of the pond can help more.

On our 96 850R trac's is always on unless you turn it off with the switch. You must do it everytime you drive if you want it off.
