Mike H.
Everyone knows about the door knobs/pins. To completely the aesthetics of such, are you guys interested in aluminum door rings? These are to replace the OEM plastic ones. Pricing is not finalized (as I'm seeking interest to see if it's even worth it) but ball park figure is between $30-$40 (for a set of 4). Note that you can get them from japan for a whopping $80.00!!! if you are lucky enough to get them to ship them stateside. If there is enough interest, lead time will be 30 business days or so and we'll go from there. Here are a few pics:It's too dark to take a picture of it installed. I'll update the post with one installed tomorrow.Update: Some installed pics from japanese websites (same exact thing as mine):

Trunks850R
id be in, and ive always thought the look is sweet, but one time i paid for my car repairs over the phone, and was suppose to pick up my car that night after work. well i got home early so me and my kid walked down there(its half a mile away, nic bonding time) and they were suppose to leave my keys under the floor mat. well i told them not to lock the doors, but they did(this was right after i bought my car and hadnt had a extra key made yet) if i had those door pins, i dont know if my guy with the tow company could have unlocked it. Adam Franke
I wish the pins had a ridge around them like the stock ones...that's the one and only reason I don't have a set. If I did, I'd get the rings too...

VolvoFan
Seems like a generous amount of clearance between the pins and rings. For the price, though, I'm in even if it's just to give them a try. Especially since I'm a super cheapass and will look for another interested C70 owner who wants a set so we can split them -Jon

The tolerances were way too loose. Also, those pins taper at the bottom and just about starts tapering where it's located on the ring thus the large shadow.
