Mattphi
Man I was at a party Friday night that made this thing look like nothin...I kicked a Weber grill across this kids backyard and into a neighbor's house, then later chugged maple syrup and slid down a gutter.I'm from Morgantown, WV - Yes, that's West Virginia University. No one does it like us, biatches.HAHA thats what Im talkin about!
s70turbo1998
Yea...375 wristbands sold at my apartment with 3 days notice...broke my floor and the girls ceiling downstairs. I think it compares. Its like that everytime my crew and I throw a party. I will be co-hosting a city wide event with my crew, bringing in well over 1500-2000 people.hahaha it compares because our parties are free. nobody pays here, that's lame.and yes, it is always multiple kegs and gallons of jungle juice. there aren't any crews either, anybody here can be a "party crew"

Meaning, they purchase a cup from me for around $3...from there they can drink as much as they want all night long.I dont feel like spending my hard earned money night after night on kegs to feed hundreds of beer crazed college kids, getting nothing in return. I dont have money handed to me from mommy and daddy to just throw away.I make an initial investment in the begining of the night, which by selling cups...refunds my money to me and whoever else chipped in, and if there is any left over it goes into my crews savings account for supplies for the next party. EricF
Never could understand the appeal of big parties.. Maybe once in a blue moon just to experience it I try to stay to 50-60 people at one time, prefer more like 30-50, and I have a 3/2 house with a little patio and little deck out back. I've had a blackberry stolen among other things, when the size got much bigger than that. Still go through two kegs and a few bottles every time, plus there's room to stretch out and play flip cup or beer pong or even card games (gasp). Matt, were you here the time we had the garage cabinet door added onto the table as an extension for massive flip cup games?Orlando party days are over though, save possibly one last semi Volvo-related bash in a couple weeks once I have everything packed up and ready to move out. Look forward to future South FL meets when I have a house down there, which will hopefully be on the water You'll all be invited.Oh yeah! Most people work, and the satisfaction alone of throwing a good party is enough to not care about having people pay. I'm not gonna get into it regarding the mommy and daddy comment, nor trying to make money through a party

People around here like to change things up a little bit. People dont want to go to a party that was the same as the last one they went to, thats why whenever we throw parties...people keep coming out. I change up themes at almost every party. The last one i threw was the other night, it was a VIP party with 300 people. Because the crew that we work with is filming a reality series, there was a film crew, photographers, a couple live bands, Jammaster J's sons rap group from ATL, shot girls, a firebreather, and alot more. I throw parties as more of an event...not just another Friday night get together.Thats cool that you guys dont charge, alot of people dont. I dont charge unless I throw a big event. I would have thrown a few this year but we live in too nice an apartment for that kind of thing.
