Best Places For An Ipod

In my brother's s70, I installed the harman kardan drive and play, and it only took 1 hr.

here is a link

http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/

As you can see there is a display and a controller. I installed the diplay in the guage cluster area on the right, it slightly blocks the tachometer, but really not that bad.

I installed the controller in the little area under the e-brake. the ipod sits in the center console storage and the little computer box that controls the whole setup and interfaces with the in dash stereo sits in the dash area (hidden) under the stereo.

we opted not to drill any holes to run wires and it looks just fine (very minimal wires exposed).

This may be to expensive for what you guys want (I think it is 130-150 usd) but it is easy to install and since the audio signal is hardwired to the stereo via the antenna wire, or just rca cable, you get the clearest sound from the ipod.

if anybody wants more details let me know.

ps all power is hardwired through the battery and accessory power wires coming off the stereo (no cigarette lighter power or cord all over, although the setup does come with a cig lighter power adapter).

best place for an ipod is the trash can and get a creative mp3 player, cheaper, longer battery life, more storage for your money and best of all....... ITS NOT APPLE!!!!

I've thought of putting my mp3 player in my center console, but i like to change songs too much.
