MattM Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 I am happy to report that the C70 is officially back on the road after a fourteen month rebuild. The T-belt tensioner broke in November '05 and I ended up replacing just about everything in the engine bay. The car is currently running on the stock 16t turbo for the next week or two during the engine break-in. Im currently at 47 miles on the new engine and so far everything is running really well. No leaks, noises, etc. I apologize for the poor quality pics but the car is currently relegated to street duty and I was being covered in ice as these were taken. regards,MattReally crappy pic. I'm used to driving the NSX and this thing really does feel like a 4x4 in comparision. I will be bringing the C to the meet on the 4th. I was going to do it, but was worried about not having the correct registration card with me. You seriously need to put the SLK on street duty, and throw that in the garage!
