Denovae Posted February 8, 2007 Report Share Posted February 8, 2007 I'll start by saying i know nothing about the actual internal configuration of standard transmissions other than the fact they are bevel gears etc etc.HOKAY.question on final drive ratios for front wheel drive and part-time 4wd are the final drive gear ratio (i.e. axle ratio) located with in the transmission case?in specific the NSG370 from the jeep liberty. there's a potential project for me if it isn't located within the actual housing.
