Volvo Virgin. Ever been to Dover? Went there this past September. poking awesome. I would love to go to the three tracks you noted as well. Bristol is my poking Graceland.

Yeah, been to Dover a dozen times or so.The traffic is what keeps me away now.Although the last time I was there we took a shuttle bus in form the Christiana Mall and that was a little better.

Bristol is the stuff. Not a bad seat in the house.Night races are the ultimate.Cars look like they are poking glowing the dark.Uber hard to get tickets for tho not impossible.

Everyone is open to opinions correct?

Agreed.Just come up with something I haven't heard before instead of boring me with the same old crap.

Dumbest type of racing ever created. Cars are ugly, and they drive in circles for a very long period of time. ....And we're turning left... again. Whats next? Still left. ...Ok.

Coming from a guy that can turn doing 25 MPH. Nice Exploder is that custom Blue fade?

Nastycar is boring. One of the guys i work with went down for the weekend though. Does anyone want to meet up at an F1 race this summer? I'm thinking about making the trip to spain or one of those locations.

Already going to Canadian and U.S grand prixs. The wife would kill me if I went to Spain.

Play nice!! :P I wasn't trying to upset you...I was just playing around. In fact I concur with you 100% that Speed's Nascar programming has gone over the top.I can barely stand to watch Speed at all during Nascar season.Even too much off a good thing is a bad thing.

As far as Toyota....I'm sure it will be a beneficial thing for Nascar as an entity and a sport in the long run.But at least for people like myself, that have been following Nascar since the early/mid 80's when they were still running stock frame/chassis and body/sheet metal American iron, the sport has changed so dramatically already this is just one more turn away from it's lineage/heritage.

And for any of you that have talked about F1 or WRC.....racing is racing and I love it all.But I'll take the sound of a carbed V8 over the sound of ANY other engine hands down.Hallelujah!! :)

i know, i was too.

i totally agree with you about the change though. i think most of the division of racing are going through this same thing. i think rallying will be filled with a bunch of car manufacturers that nobody gives a sh*t about (ex suzuki), F1 is changing with all of the cars switching over to new enigines this and last year, and nascar with this whole thing.

regardless if you like the sport or not (i personally would never watch it on TV, but i have been told it is one of the funnest things in the world to see in person) it still is racing, and just because some of you dont like it i would never call any of those atheltes un-athletic.

Guys guys, don't get so worked up over a simple joke. There are two types of people when it comes to NASCAR, the Fanbase - and the dislikes. Everyone is open to opinions correct?

Yeah. And your opinions are valid. But why post them in a thread where Rob is trying to solicit comments from other NASCAR fans. Start your own thread about how NASCAR is boring and I will debate the merits of your comments all day long. This however is not the thread for it.

Rob, I loved Dover and my father-in-law has it figured out. We got a campsite about 8 miles from the track where we truly take backroads with no traffic to and from the track. A little bit of walking, but not bad. I was actually offered tickets to the Busch and Cup night races at Bristol this year, but couldn't afford them. That and this past year's night race was the most uneventful Bristol race ever. Everybody was points racing. I hated that race. And I LOVE short track racing. I would love to go to Richmond too. Especially since Harvick runs so fucking well there. I went to 3 races this year (both Atlanta races and one Dover race) and he had horrid days in all three. Got wrecked by David Stremme in the first ATL race and just had a horrible car at the second ATL race. His motor blew up at Dover, but watching Matt Kenseth and Jeff Burton duke it out at the end of the race was fucking phenomenal. I've been to Dega... I'll never go back. Just too big. I wouldn't mind going to the 500 just to see the spectacle though. When it comes to going to the track, ATL is the biggest I'll go see in person.

As far as Toyota goes, I don't mind it. But I guess you could consider me new school seeing as I started watching in 2002. If they can play by the rules and are fast enough to make the races then by all means let 'em play. I don't think they are going to start off too hot though. They brought what 8 cars to the 500. They'll be lucky to get 2 or 3 in the race and one will be using the championships provisional. Hell they impounded Mikey's whole car after they found something in the intake manifold.

I'm hoping James Hylton hands out some pwnage in the 150's and makes the race. That would be the absolute coolest shit ever if he does.

I'd rather see him make it than Michael Waltrip. I am just over him. Get a fucking haircut already dude. I wonder how long NAPA is going to stick around when he can't make races.

So your sitting on the couch prolly eating a bunch of crap you dont need to be eating watching cars drive around a large circle, mmmmmmmm...sounds exciting :monkey:

My thoughts exactly, Stupid Hicks going left. What the hell was Montoya thinking?

Schumacher's Words

'Personally, I wouldn't do it,' 'What do you do in NASCAR? What is exciting there? I can't see that, running around on ovals.'

Jesus people. START A NEW FUCKING THREAD AND WE CAN ARGUE ABOUT WHICH IS MORE BORING! I am sick of you morons cluttering up the thread. Like I have said (as well as the rest of the NASCAR fans here), I like all racing. All of it is boring in respect or another. I enjoy NASCAR because of the door to door racing. And no fucking team orders. That pisses me off so bad about F1. Team orders. How in the hell is that real racing? Now quit being childish idiots and go start your own thread if you want to argue the merits of this over that. I don't really care what Michael Schumacher or Robin Miller think of NASCAR. And a tid bit for you, F1 OFFICIALS VISITED NASCAR RACES TO SEE WHAT THEY ARE DOING RIGHT IN TERMS OF MARKETING AND SUCH.

How the hell can you call NASCAR drivers hicks? Do you know any of the drivers?

I know I am getting worked up and frankly I don't care what you all think of me. Take it from me, I used to be a hater too. Now my member title is no joke.
