Yeah but he (the chicken-shit) whined about how he got second. I'd rather get second that way than win b/c of a yellow. I'm glad they let them race to the checker.

Boyer's finish was awesome. There's nothing like crossing the finish line, ON YOUR ROOF.

WHAT!

i didn't watch, but did he seriously slide across the finishline upside down?

Yeah, on the last turn there was a big wreck behind the front two finishers.

Scott - I could see the reasoning for Martin being pissed. The guy behind him keeping him out front [Kyle Busch] was driving like a retard trying to block Harvick and look what happened. If Busch would have stayed in line [but typical Kyle Busch being all over the place] Martin would have won even though Harvick had a good push going.

Sure but if you look at the last turn, when the wreck happened, Harvick was in the lead. So if they'd thrown the yellow, Harvick would've still won when the wreck happened, b/c they score you from when the flag is thrown... based on the 'many scoring strips imbedded around the track...' blah blah blah. :)

You can go over as many 'what ifs' you want, but KH would've won, wreck or no wreck. I agree that Kyle's a spaz.

I wonder though if Harvick would have still have had the lead coming off of 4 if Busch had not pulled out from behind Martin to pull that moronic block [it was already too late since Harvick had the run next to him] going into 3.

Oh well, I guess I just wanted to see Martin win. He's been one of my favorites since when I first starting watching NASCAR when I was like 4.

It was a good call though not to throw the yellow. Again, great finish.

FUCKING AWESOME RACE!!!! Or at least the last 50 laps. Once Tony and Kurt went out and it became anybody's race, it got really fun to watch. I am friggin' ecstatic right now, although my house is divided. My wife is a HUGE Mark Martin fan (grew up a Mark Martin fan) and to be honest I was kind of pulling for him at the end until Harvick pulled out and got that big push from Kenseth and Burton. I was out of my seat jumping around. I defy anybody to watch those last 50 laps and tell me NASCAR is boring.

As far as the yellow controversy, I may be looking at it with a slanted point of view, but Harvick had the lead coming through 3 and 4. They started wrecking and he was still ahead by a nose. You throw the yellow when they start wrecking, Harvick is still the winner. Martin repassed him and Harvick got back by him at the line. I am glad NASCAR let them race. Don't finish under a chickenshit caution. And really they where still wrecking after they crossed the stripe, so even if the caution had been thrown when the wreck started, I don't know that the emergency crews could have gotten out any earlier.

I agree with Patty though, had Martin not lost his pusher, he probably could have held on. But in the end Kyle Busch is a friggin' spaz and was all over the track heading into Turn 3. Blocking Biffle, then Harvick, then Kenseth, then crashing himself and the rest of the field. What a moron. I wish they would have interviewed him. Would love to hear what he had to say.

Bowyer's wreck was spectacular to say the least. Although I would have rather seen him not get clipped and make it back to the line with a nice top 10. Regardless. Great race. I enjoyed it. Hope you all did too.

I caught a part of an interview where Martin was talking about how his "pusher" wasn't there..Was that Bush? number 5 car from what i remember...

Yup. Kyle Busch is a friggin' spaz. He was trying to block everybody and there mothers and ultimately lost control of his car. Like he does just about every week.

That would make Mark Martin a power bottom, right?

My wife is going to kill you!
