JHEIII874T5M
is the stock system a return line system where theres a flow from the fuel rail back to the line coming from the pump? your pump will last longer with a return line installed and an adjustable fuel regulator too boot. it'll keep your pump from overworking and dead heading the system in the fuel rail where the fuel will just sit and just go to waste.Yes, we know. The returnless started in 99's... the 94-97 850's have a genuine return system, while the 98 have a somewhat odd return setup... but it's still a return setup. Yup, but you get all those insanely annoying backfires when letting off . *memories* Back on topic, Jared... true hawtness on tapping the runner for the stock manifold. Hilton
Turbo Ford guys have been running log manifolds for years. I think it's a great idea.

I think it's a great idea.???? all the mustangs and corvettes around here with turbos run tubular. I haven't seen one log manifold for them yet. I didn't even know anyone used them, i was sure they existed, but i mean... tubular > log for big turbo on big displacement engines.

Saw it in the flesh, finally, and it is nice. If only he could see the benefits of running an air filter...
Denovae
Yup, but you get all those insanely annoying backfires when letting off . *memories* don't get me started. all the lunatic 18y/os around here kick start their car in 2nd or 3rd gear around 4k rpms so the exhaust backfires and sounds like a gunshot. i've tried several things to get rid of the popping at idle and closed throttle deceleration, i think i finally found the answer with a venturi style muffler. Hilton
Yeah, Merkur, but close enough. Pretty much a German Escort.turboford.net search for "Bob's Log"Another "fun" thing they do is stick the dual overhead cam Volvo head on a Ford 2.3. bigmay850
sorry to bring update an old topic but looking at doing almost the same set up t4e or b my friend is selling or giving me, but have a few ? How well does a safcII work with the stock ecu? what size FMIC r u running and r u running aquamist? how hard to run the oil lines?
Zulu
SAFCII works only because I'm using 630cc injectors and a hacked MAF into 3'' piping. But it works perfectly, no problems, cruising AFRs 15-16, WOT low to mid 11s.FMIC is 30x7-8x3, no aquamist.Oil lines weren't too bad, I'll try to find the fittings I used for all of it. If its a TO4B I have a stock manifold modified for an externally gated T3 setup w/ ATP adaptor to make things simple for you. E housing is too big, why I had to go custom manifold. BlackT5
E housing is too big, why I had to go custom manifold. How is it too big? I've got an S cover and it fits. You must be using something like the ATP t3 adapter?
