Aux-in Adaptors For Head Unit Or?

Hey All:excl:

I own a 2004 S60R, it has the HU-803 head unit from the factory...and I am looking for an AUX-IN adaptor for my MP3 player (no, it's not an iPod). I have looked around and cannot find anything - have seen some for earlier models tho.

I don't want an FM adaptor nor cassette adaptor (no cassette available), and I would preferably like an adaptor that doesn't introduce any kind of noise from ground loops, alternators etc...

Anyone out there have any ideas where I CAN find one?

Danke!!

Hello, the newer cars with the HU-x model radios are more difficult to develop an aux-in for. The radio control system is tied in with the car, and apparently you need a dealer activation code for the CD-changer function. All of the sc-x AUX-ins use the changer input on the radio, so you see the dilemma. If you buy the changer option with changer, and know some electronics and are fearless you could try splicing in to the connecting wire and giving yourself an aux that way, but that assumes that the D/A is in the changer, not the HU.

So, sorry right now there is no clean way to add an aux in to your system. I will probably not develop one, so your best bet is to ask blitzsafe as to their plans.
