Meek
The group buy will be ending at the end of next month to get the sets out I have...Just in time for Father's Day.What colors do you have in stock? Thanks.
Yellow95
I hope everyone is aware the Kingsborne is still honoring the group buy price. All you have to tell them is you want the volvospeed price. I just bought some last week.Gary
Zulu
Had some problems with my torque reading on the dyno due to the Kingsbourne, not a big deal, just a btw.
NGB
I've been having a few misfires...and after i talked to another T5 owner he mentioned that he was having the same problem, but after her removed the Kingsborne wires the misfires stopped...I have the kingsbornes now, but i'm thinking about getting rid of them. The Wiretec Magstar wires I am now running have no issues whatsoever no matter what the gap, coil etc. Quality is far superior to the Kingsborne's as well. MagstarRacing
Hi , I have a few blue and yellow left and about 8 red sets made ready to ship. I have been biting my lip on the kingsborne thing . If you read one of my previous posts I stated about what companies make wire . We use to make the wire for kingsborne ( they assemble the sets themselves ) . I can make sets with our standard black wire for 40 dollars, I stated earlier that raw materials for us to produce the magstar set are around 33 dollars not including labor for assembly , profit etc. ( for the volvo , some are cheaper and the price reflects that ) I think a lot of the time in a market like this people tend to not understand that companies these days hardly make their own products , a decent comparison is HKS , as most of you know HKS has decent products but just like their turbos ( made by garrett ) Its rare for a company that sells more than 1 type of product to manufacture them all , its not cost effective . People tend to get set on one type of product thinking its out standing just because of "word of mouth" , A good example which I have no problem bashing is magnecor . Today a lot of websites use their "FAQ" as understanding wire sets yet it couldnt be further from the truth besides a couple things. They charge 79+ for most sets and their customer support is lacking. I can't really comment on german cars as I'll probably never be able to afford one but , They have higher engineering skills it appears , as an audiophile and reef keeper their products in both areas show that . Is a 239048239082398 dollar power cable from germany for your amp going to make a huge dramatic difference? No probably not but its a quality piece that you can rest assured if something goes wrong its not that component causing the problem . Errors do happen from time to time sure , but its more than likely the part will be defunct right off the bat and not later down the road. I trust in what my father does with this company , I gave him so much crap over putting japanese lettering ( kanji or whatever its called ) on the box because Advanced wanted it. If I didnt feel I was selling you the best product in this area I wouldnt even bother . As corny as it sounds I get a greater satisfaction knowing some one enjoys their wire sets over the whole gigantic 5-8 bucks I make off a set depending on where its shipped too. Anyway just a little rant SaffronThundah - Paid , ShippedJarediii - Paid , ShippedNWT 5R - Paid , ShippedFlyFishing03 - Paid , ShippedTanker - Paid , ShippedMattphi - Paid , ShippedTM850R - Paid , ShippedRexford310 - Paid , ShippedLarry N. - Paid , ShippedRyan b. - Paid , ShippedE.T. - Paid , ShippedDAVE A. - Paid , ShippedMagnum46 - Paid , ShippedCBon - Paid , Shippedwmartinlsmith - Paid , Shipped1997850T5R - Paid , ShippedUberV70 - Paid , Shipped. I just put them on this past week and they look great, fit on cap great and went right onto the plugs with a nice click. Plus car starts right up, and along with my other ignition parts provides some extra pop to my throttle. AM radio has less static too!
