smokin' T5M
Go to www.wiretec-ignition.comHere's the basic site for Wiretec they make the wires. Production line is Magstar racing. Have fun check it out. Sorry guys I have been posts while been at work and makes it hard for me to get everything done. Enjoy. Please read post #37 for info I said on aftermerket coils. I would need to know if they are in a stock location and which one is being used!!!! These are custom sets. Not mass production. As we all as Volvo owners know, there is not a huge market for a lot of things. I said before magstar went where the demand was to start off, Japanese and Domestic. They have generic sets as well. I asked if he would make a custom set for us at VS. As a friend he is doing this for me and us. Please appreciate that. Give it a chance and understand that this post was to see if peopple were intersted in the availability. Thank You for the concern and I have made note of the valuable questions and info. HtownTurboBrick
hey guys sorry to thread jack but wanted to formally apologize to tony, inlineturbo, for the wires issue, he can elaborate if he wishes to. the matter has been resolved and his product will be recieved. as for these wires, i wouldn't knock on another brand unless you tested all the competitors products until you make a statement like that. im sure these wires are good, but don't resort to discrediting kingsborne products to sell these. i may pick up a set just to test the quality compared to kingsborne's. i didn't make a dime in my GB for them, so i dont have a finacial stake in the company, but i do stand behind the products they produce. which i will re-offer after i have time to resolve my current vehicle issues. TM850R
I understand this correctly right? Black wires could be 8 mm at 800 ohm per foot OR 8.5 mm at 100 ohms per foot. The 8.5 mm wires can be 3 colors? Black, Red, or Blue. The 8 mm can be Black only. Just trying to clarify that.

Now that there are prices please let me know if you are still interested and what color. I don't know if the same price is for a black set. I will find out though. TM850R
Thats only about $10 the price of a standard set from FCP so Im still in. I would be getting RED if those are the options for 8.5 mm. Shipping shouldnt be all that much. Maybe $15 across the country?1. Zip-N-By - RED2. drin8503. TM850R - RED4. MoJo5. ET - RED6. TM850R
oem wires from fcp are only 50 bucksPlus shipping. So for another $20 why not upgrade? Plus if we get two more people that want to buy these, it will be ~$63 plus shipping. If you are complaining about $13 for better wires, there is something wrong. If you are complaining about $13 for better wires, there is something wrong. And for $10 less, you folks could also upgrade to the Kingsborne for $40 including the coil wire and $8.95 shipped CONUS directly from them (unlike the $14.95 shipping cost from the original GB). Available in black, red and blue. They may only be 8mm thick but when I tested my set vs a brand new Bougicord with a multi-tester, I was quite surprised with the results. The Bougicord had a constant increase in resistance from wire #5 (shortest) to #1 (longest). With the Kingsborne, all 5 wires registered almost identical resistance regardless of the length and yet still lower than the shortest Bougicord wire #5.Not trying to discourage anyone from this GB, just presenting other options.
