lol i was told a little fib...actually it was probably calculated by their driving standards. directions from my house to the track...but im pretty sure we can drive by their standards. we'd prolly be able to make it in half an hr with some spirted driving ;)

here's the link to the track http://www.lonestarmotorsportspark.com/lon...spark/index.php

i still feels its a better alternative to baytown. theres not as much traffic out to sealy so it makes it a safer run there. going down to baytown theres plenty of traffic and road construction. a lot of that section of i-10 out to sealy is newly finished freeway construction. also, i think we'll be able to get more track time then we did at HRP. cuz this year, pinks will be out there the following saturday so its gonna be hectic getting time in with people out there trying to show off for pinks. so overall i feel its a better switch. let me know what you think. its still open for you to decide.

Hay I need help on jons car. I dont know the 70's very well and between the small diferences between tthe 850's and the 70's allong with all the factory vac hoses being changed /moved at one point or another I couldnt tell how to set up the boost controll silanoid. SO if someone who knows how the 70's vac routing and components are sopose to be could get with jon or take a look at the car and get it set over the meet, well thatd just be swell!!!,....

Oh and BTW jon drove his car home tonight.

Oh and for whoever looks under the hood dont think ill of me please, i did the best i could with what I had. and he didnt pay me enough to really care;)

love you jon (brotherly not homoly)

vadis is no help just the same lame diagram from under the hood.

the main problem is not knowing what port on the thing goes to ware.

oil trap is easy you shouldnt need my help. but if you do let me know.

Gotcha.

I was searching just a minute ago but now i'm headed out to work, but i KNOW there's a diagram of the vacuum hose routing (and BCS) somewhere in either "performance modifications" or "1998 and Prior". Browse for silicone lines cause that's what they were discussing.

BTW, the differences in the 850 to X70 engine wise are literally nill. Only if you include EGR and the Air Pump are the only main differences.

Now 1999+...that's a whole new monster

they also have a different boost controll valve, I got everything else figured out eventually but the stock valve on my 850's had 3 ports all on the same side and they were color coaded

the 70 has a "T" also with 3 ports but thats not whats pictured in the diagram, and all the hoses that might once have been color coaded have been changed or moved.

this is the only diagram Ive found. Also the same as under the hood.
