True Swede
Hi folksI'd like to start with saying that I am a fresh newbie to this forum, and am really glad I came across you guys. Eventhough I have had an interest for cars before I could walk, I am not really into the mechanical stuff, such as how things work and especially what all of these abbreviations used at this forum actually stand for. If such a thread doesn't already exist, how about setting up something like a "slang/abbreviations dictionary" letting us mechanic wannabies get a good start taking good care of our rides without forking out the crazy dough to the dealer shops.. If someone knows about an already excisting place with this kind of info don't be shy revealing where to look for it..So you experienced guys, please share your knowledge.. Thanks.. /True Swede

Denovae
whatever either answer the question or politely correct my mistake. don't just be a dickbtw i like your srtno i wasn't pointing out a mistake. you had it right, most people say CPS is the camshaft... it actually is the crankshaft. I was pointing out i was happy you had it right, i see tons of people saying it is the camshaft position sensor (which is incorrect).thanks for the compliment on the srt. the one in my sig is the MOPAR sponsored DCR Drag car, it's insane. it's basically a test bed for all their products... insane stuff, you can buy everything on their 7sec car for a street SRT-4, they are the best SRT-4 builders in the world. They built the 10.3 street SRT-4, at the owners request it will never see a dyno, all tuning is done on the track. they also are building a street block/transmission for this car: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/ead1e9e...89e01836569.htm ... :o
