He is a long time mechanic and knows our cars very well from first hand experience. He has access to a garage/lift/air tools, so when it comes to the down'n'dirty jobs, it really helps having him on your side We have done a few transmission swaps in his shop, could get it swapped entirely from auto->manual in a weekend if we wanted without even breaking a sweat.
