Anybody Use Infinity Basslink?

Hey, I know this is OT, but Bing -- is it possible to do a sub in the rear tire well, but keep the spare (I've a wagon too)? I don't think depth is an issue with the 17s on mine.. I'm just wondering about volume and whatnot. (I need bass... :-( ).

I'm looking to make a 'glass/MDF enclosure for my Infinity Kappa 10" sub. I think I can get the required .75 cubic feet and also use the 17" Volan as a grill.

Maybe I'll step up to a JBL 12" that I have if I can make the airspace... Hmmm, decisions, decisions.

i looked into the same thing, and my conclusion is, the only way to do it is with a a rather shallow sub that donest require a lot of airspace...if you think about it this way, the enclosure is going to have to be around 15 in diameter and only about 6" deep after you take into account hte thickness of hte wheel itself, so that makes for a .5-.6 cub feet enclosure, and most likely less if you take in account the other iregularities in the sub well, and the space taken by the sub itself in the enclosure...

personally, I think a good sub for this would be something like a kicker s8l7, though your infinity sub chris may be a good candidate...i know when the tire is out, the well looks huge, but once you get to building the enclosure itself, you will realize you have less space than you think ;)

that will allow you fit a 12" sub sure, just have to do it out of glass, but of me, keeping hte stock floor heign was kind of the whole point:)

The new Blau's a re PIMP! But a tad pricey.

Bing- I expect to keep the floor the same height overall - just getting rid of the rear seat and bringing the sub up to meet the floor.

I'm only looking to fit one 10" sub, the spare and an amp or 2. Should be ok... Maybe. I need to measure more.
