Pulled up next to a guy in his mid 50s with his wife. They had been driving aggresively from light to light so I figured I would jockey for position at the next light. We took off and I spooled her, to which he reacted and caught up. The next light came up and we both settled in. I thought he might be game so as soon as the light changed I hit it. He got a slight jump, thank you turbo lag! I reeled him in in 2nd (7,000 rpms no doubt). By third I was 3/4 of a length ahead and by 85 it was more than a length. I shut it down after that.

I was suprised it was so close. That pig is 4,000lbs! Damn stock R...

it's kind of strange that he held so close.

he is heavier than you, plus he had a passanger on board.

are you sure you did a good launch?

the 300C 's factory specs state that it does the 0-60mph @ 6.8 seconds which is supposed to be more than one whole second slower than you.

but it is a 5.7 liter torque monster after all and good kill nevertheless :)

The 300 was a lot quicker than I anticipated. He did have a passanger but I live close enough to Boca Raton that she probably only weighed 90lbs (it's an ordinance in that city) .

It definitely wasn't an SRT-8. You can hear the difference if they go WOT.

:lol::lol::lol::lol: Just found this thread. Nicely done man, glad to hear you stayed in front. I ran a SRT8 Wagon on Beeline on the way to Moroso with the 19T setup on 17 PSI... we were door-door from 25 - 130, then I began to creep past him to 140ish. The guy had a Magnaflow catback and a couple other things, was running low 13's @ 107-108 all night.

Great job man, good stuff, where did the run take place?
