Also, isn't your best trap like a 107? if so your not putting 5 cars quickly on a S60R.. Also, why the hell are you on a volvo board anyways Denovae? "S60R 4ME" ? if so i saw you on I-75 a bit back. Haha, I love the poking in the dark at the trap speed. I haven't taken my car to the track with all the mods done now (FPR, 21/19psi, DCR OFM, etc)... with a WGA (17/15psi) i was running 100-104 at edgewater on KDWIIs. I'll be at kil-kare soon so we'll know then... not this week but probably next week.How did I end up on this board... I was about to get rid of the SRT-4, I got bored with it sold a bunch of stuff, had mechanical problems with the old turbo ( got a new stocker )... was about to buy an S40 AWD T5 then a bunch of people here promptly talked me out of it with horror stories of haldex. I just sort of stuck around... and try to annoy grant and greg as much as possible. plus be honest with yourself... the SRT forums ( minus the chicagoland SRT club forum ) is a gigantic kiddie pool with over inflated egos and bruised butts ( Much like SRD - which i don't frequent very often ). Plus I've been banned from SRTForums, Honda-Tech, Club-RSX, VCA ( I called J. Hennessey an overrated punk thief, and since he was a vendor at the time the admin banned me )... and a bunch of others too. I think it's mainly the fact the majority of the people here are decent human beings who actually deserve to use the oxygen surrounding them. He has a fully built 2.5 motor and all the goodies to go with it. put down close to 500WHP, yes WHEEL HP. then dropped the boost a little to make only 460WHP becuase it was just a little much for a daily driver. Has a fully built motor that definately is the fastest volvo with a volvo engine on this board until chuck gets his widebody, then again that is a race car and not a daily driver. I dont get why everybody talks shit about his car, its sick and somethign we all wish we had. Then again people bash turbo850r for his car and how much he spent but then again these are the same people who cant fathom the difference between a 850 turbo ecu and a 850 T5-R ecu nor can they tell a difference between their ass and a hole in the ground. Denovae Posted March 21, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2007 I dont know why people talked you off the AWD... technically, its not as good as say the audi or japanese awd due to the front bias, but its pretty reliable.I'd prefer a rear bias but it's not that huge of a concern as long as i could get off the line. it was more stories of the slightest misallignment screwing up the awd, among other things like prices for parts, costs of building and engine/trans.i could have AMS build a 2.4L longblock with their GT35R kit and all supporting mods, have them install and dyno tune it to the figure of 10k. Do i have that money? no. Would I do that? probably not, but it's just an example of how cheap parts are for the SRT-4 and right now switching to an S40 T5 and trying to do a GT3076R would put my wallet in a hole and have tons of headaches. I could've been kelly morgan's mid 12s 1/4mi SRT-4 before he traded it in. He had silver stripes about 10 inchers spaced 6 inches apart. Someone said something about inviting me into the club but nothing came of it, i don't really car though. I know it's all the fast cars in the area with respected drivers, but I'm not really friends with anyone in it so I didn't think anything of it.
