Anthrpicdecadnce
My chassis instructor drives an '06 XC70. lately, whenever it is very very cold out, it shifts very hard for like two minutes. then the transmission warms up and the problem disappears. This does not happen when the temp is above 20 degrees F. what is the problem?

Anthrpicdecadnce
Well, yeah fluid is thick when it's cold out... Do you think maybe it's a PCM issue? Maybe he needs to get a reflash or something?
