mkm661
I need to replace my front left wheel bearing and I was wondering if anyone has had any issues doing it before? I couldn't find a How-To, is there one out there? I have AllData, but you know how good that is.

In addition, I assume you are in N.A with left hand drive model.

mkm661
What's interesting is that I called the local dealerships today and the one said that it would be 4 hours of labor "because 2000 S40 wheel bearings are super hard". Both dealerships replace the hub assembly so I will probably go that route. When you buy the new hub, do you need to buy the hub assembly in order to get the bearing with it? Or does the hub assembly have the knuckle attached?
