JHEIII874T5M
Do you mean the compressor bypass valve? In diagram on the right hand side, #2 of this pic:
turbobrick
any of the vacuum lines can easily be replaced with standard run of the mill rubber line found commonly at any autoparts store.just make sure you cut it to the correct length :)
toml77
Do you mean the compressor bypass valve? In diagram on the right hand side, #2 of this pic:Yes, that is the part. It is fastened to the turbo with three bolts. The diaphram is cracked and is leaking. It might also be referrid to as the wastegate servo. Thanks for replying. Now, where can I get a new one?Tom

YIKES!!Anyone know where I can order directly from a turbo rebuilder?try calling up dodge and asking for a cbv replacement for your srt4, the bypass valve is identical, i do believe someone on ebay sells only the diaphragm; im unsure at how much it costs though. toml77
I checked out that part. It's made by Forge and available for $115. It looks to be too thick for the Volvo application. I had trouble getting mine off with the turbo still attached to the engine. I'll check it out though.Thanks.

patty AT forge
This is the Neon recirc valve. What model and year is your car? We may make a valve install kit for it, that would include a blanking plate for the factory valve and the parts needed to fit a valve elsewhere in the system. matt b
I can send you a used one that does not leak for $25, shipped. I have 3-4 at home, I replace them with blanking plates on the turbos, and I don't plan on using them unless someone specifically asks to have one installed on the turbo. turbobrick
i would advise against the forge's they're diaphragms have torn on both mine and a friends car, after not even 6 months of use.
toml77
I put everything back together and plugged the vacuum ports on the manifold and the valve. My vacuum is back to 20.5 at idle. The car runs great. We'l see if the CEL goes off.If I don't plan to repalce the valve, do I relly need a blocking plate? If there is no vacuum applied the spring holds the valve closed, right.
