E_S80 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Share Posted March 30, 2007 Hey guys, I was just curious if anyone from the Volvo crew is going to Hot Import Nights in Chicago? It's down at McCormick Place Friday and Saturday this weekend.All over Chicago there's nice cars coming out to play today before HIN. On my way home from work today I saw an amazing Lambo turn onto the highway going downtown, so I decided, why not have a little fun. I was a few cars behind him on the ramp but as soon as the highway opened up he FLEW past everyone. I tried to catch up to him, but even though I was flooring it at around 100-120 mph, he was completely out of sight within about 15 seconds. Eventually I caught up to him due to some traffic and pulled up next to him, but not for long when he weaved in and out of every single car on the highway. And I thought I was a crazy driver. I think it was the fastest car I've ever seen in person and there were even some sparks and fire coming out of the exhaust when he really stepped on it. E_S80 Posted March 30, 2007 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2007 Nope, the only mod I've put in my car so far is a 8000k HID kit from mydepots But I'm going up to see a group of Euro cars I'm with called Euroteknik. There's a lot of BMWs, and there's some really nice Audis, Porsches, VWs, Lotus, etc. There's about 33 of them cruising in together, it's gonna be sweet. But yeah, I'll be sure to take lots of pics, hopefully there will be at least a couple really nice Volvos there.
