Yay! Not One Single Major Repair Needed In 6 Months!

For those of you that have followed: I bought the 00 XC 18mo ago and in the first 12mo the warranty company paid out over $13K in repairs. Not one major problem has surfaced since the warranty expiration(knock on wood). The only issues now are cosmetic: 1) the PRNDL light which I've yet to take 20 minutes to repair, and 2) the rear interior tailgate cover which is falling loose on its own. My right wheel bearing will also need replacement soon; it's humming like a biatch.

I just started my 6th ARX treatment on the engine, as I've put 38k miles on her in the last year; she needs all the TLC she can get. My MPG continues to improve with each treatment. I highly recommend ARX for all VS'ers with used Volvo's not treated with full syn from the beginning.

Curious, why six treatments with Auto Rx.? Two should have covered it. Displacement is not large on the engines. Arx works, no debate about that. Best product on the market.

My S60 original (now I have three Volvos), is an 02 NA, and I did one treatment and then went right to German Castrol and/or Pennzoil Plat. Still no consumption after one year. The 07 XC90 was switched at 5K to German Castrol 0/30 and the 05 S60 AWD was bought at around 30K and switched to PP 5/30. No consumption or leaks. Every 5K I change it out.

If you want a good cleaning oil, but not for extended drains, then use Redline. It's has esters that others don't. That's what cleans in autorx , esters.
