Modus Posted March 31, 2007 Report Share Posted March 31, 2007 okay so my inspection is due and now i need this leak fixed.I live in New York, long island. I don't like taking my car the dealer Rape, does any one know any one else that would like to help me out? Shops, people, private mechanics..... any one?Replaced... fill tube, gas tank gasket, rollover valve and tank cap gasket. Checked all rubber lines for tears.Disconnected battery cable for 15 minutes. Code disappears but comes back after 14 cycles. errrrrrrrr...... Should I order a new checkvalves and a purgevalve? troyhyde Posted March 31, 2007 Report Share Posted March 31, 2007 Check the purge valve and make sure it holds good vacuum on each side. It is located near the top of the radiator toward the battery.
